What to Practice?
1. Go to practice room and clean up the concert music.
2. Pay attention to intonation on long notes (i.e. middle section of Denbridge Way)
3. Clean up articulation on Temecula Valley Fanfare
4. The section in 3/4 at end of Quad City Stomp

As a member of Wind Ensemble You Should Be able to identify all key signatures.

At this point, we have discussed and practiced and played all 12 major scales. You should continue to practice these and work towards mastery (i.e. Be able to play them at any tempo through the full range of your instrument without making mistakes).
The next group of scales we will be working on are the NATURAL MINOR scale
Your First Minor Scales to work on are:
You will be tested on the following scales: Db, Gb, B, E, A, D, and G concert.
They MUST be memorized and performed with a metronome (minimum tempo of mm=60).
You can play them as all quarter notes or the standard quarter 8th rhythm.
They will be tested during your 5th period sectional time.
