Write in the counts and circles for the following rhythm. After you write in the counts, practice performing with a steady beat. In the next few weeks we will have a performance quiz. You wu will get a four measure rhythm and have to perform it.
Triads vs. 7th Chords
We have talked and analyzed triads for the last few weeks. The next types of chords that we will discuss and analyze are called 7th chords. To turn any triad into a 7th chord you add either a Major 3rd or a minor 3rd above the 5th.
