Notate a C major, C Minor, C Augmented and C diminished Triad on the treble clef.
Triad Review...What the heck is an inversion?
Triads have three parts a Root, a 3rd, and a 5th.
When the lowest note of the triad is the Root, we call it "root position".
When the lowest note of the triad is the 3rd, we call it "1st inversion". (The order of notes will then be 3rd, 5th, root)
When the lowest note of the triad is the 5th, we call it "2nd inversion". (The order of notes will then be 5th, root, 3rd)
