Today's bell ringer is a ear training bell ringer. Before we begin, write down some tips on how to hear the difference between major, minor, dominant and diminished chords. What should you listen for?
Levy's tip for ear training:
1. Identify what type of third is being played between the first and second note of a chord. If the interval is a major third, it can only be a major or dominant chord. If the interval is a minor third, it can only be a minor or diminished chord.
