2020 Music Department Tour

Tour Information for Parents & Students
Every two years, the OLCHS Music Department travels across the country to perform in, learn, and experience the culture of a great American city. In April of 2020, we will be traveling to New York City.
Who: All student who are enrolled in any music performance class (Band, Choir, & Guitar Ensemble) for the 2019-2020 school year. This is not a mandatory trip to be a member of the music department.
When: April 16th, 2020 – April 20th, 2020 (see Itinerary for Details)

Payment Schedule
Wednesday August 21st 1st Payment (Deposit) $250
All members planning on attending the trip (including chaperones) MUST pay the entire $250 to reserve their seat.
This deposit is Non-Refundable and cannot be paid with fundraising.
Wednesday September 18th 2nd Payment: $300
Wednesday November 6th 3rd Payment: $350
Monday January 6th 4th Payment: $350
Friday February 28th 5th Payment: Remaining Balance
Money earned from fundraisers will be deducted from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and final payments.
Make all checks payable to: OLCHS
Checks MUST include the students ID#

Chaperone Information
We will be looking for between 8-12 chaperones for this tour. Cost is exactly the same as the student cost. Chaperones will have extra responsibilities and duties to help manage and care for the students. Details will be explained in the “Chaperone Agreement Form." All Chaperones will also need to pass a background check, which will be paid for by the school.
All Interested Chaperones should complete the following steps:
Step #1 - Send in your $250 deposit with your student. All checks made out to "OLCHS" and should contain your students ID#.
We will give them the Background Check Form and the Chaperone Agreement Form to take home to you.
We will hold your deposit until your BGC is passed and accepted by the school.
Step #2 - Take the Background Check Form and schedule/complete the process. The facility information will be listed on the form.
Please complete this within two weeks.
The school will cover this cost.
Step #3 - Fill out and sign the Chaperone Agreement Form.
Send this back to the school.
Step #4 - Once your BGC is passed and accepted by the school and we receive your agreement form, we will deposit your $250 check.
